Plastic Fabrication
Plastic fabrication is a combination of the most common processes to machine plastics.
Plastics fabrication usually includes milling and turning, sometimes also machining in CNC centres. For smaller volumes conventional machining is common and for larger volumes CNC machining is typically used.
Plastic fabrication is especially common for small volumes, as there is usually no tooling cost. Plastics fabrication is also a common process to improve tolerances after moulding.
It is normally carried out in smaller workshops or plastic moulding facilities.
