Engraving

Engraving is a process in which text or patterns are printed on different articles and components, usually on metal or glass surfaces.

There are several techniques to create the engraving, and the conventional method is by cutting with a tool. Nowadays more modern methods has emerged, such as laser engraving.

Engraving is one of the most effective methods to create a lasting print on components or products. Sometimes it is used to make products traceable long times in rough conditions, such as within the railway industry.
